Overview
This session explores the often unseen psychological processes that shape performance within everyday coaching practice. Rather than focusing solely on structured interventions, the talk highlights how psychology is embedded in the small, moment-to-moment decisions coaches make.
Using applied examples, the session examines how factors such as language, timing, and presence influence athlete confidence, motivation, and trust. It encourages coaches to recognise the impact of their everyday behaviours and provides practical strategies for making small, intentional adjustments that enhance both performance and wellbeing.
Grounded in applied psychology and real-world coaching contexts, the session offers accessible and immediately usable insights for those looking to integrate psychology more effectively into their practice.
