Special Session: Early Career Research

Early Career Research

Day 3: 5 September

The UKES conference is committed to actively promote Early Career Research (ECR) participation through a high number of papers, presentations, and side activities. This year we are happy to host a particular session dedicated to ECR support, career development and networking.

The aim is to bring ECRs attending the conference together in a dedicated session in order to share ideas, experiences, and also inform them around opportunities to gain support in a number of areas, including research, training, funding, skills development, and exchange opportunities.

The session will be supported by a number of representatives from relevant EPSRC Supergen Hubs, Centres for Doctoral Training (CDT), and other programmes including Fellowship Schemes, who will present their agendas and ECR support plans.

Attendees will have the opportunity to be informed, ask questions and give feedback, while also listening to other ECR speaker experiences.

We would like to invite all ECRs attending the conference join us in this unique opportunity and help us further develop ECR presence in the area of Energy Storage.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions or suggestions.
