Newcastle University’s School of Engineering is hosting the 2019 UK Energy Storage Conference (UKES 2019).

The conference endeavours to bring together academics, industry partners and policy makers across the whole field of energy storage, focussing on the Digitalisation of Storage.

UKES2019 will take place from the 3rd - 5th September 2019 and will be held in the Frederick Douglass Building at Newcastle Helix, Newcastle University with the conference dinner being held at The Biscuit Factory on Wednesday 4th September.

Newcastle University, supported by the Supergen Energy Networks Hub, The EPSRC National Centre for Energy Systems Integration, Supergen Energy Storage Network+, The Energy Storage Research Network (ESRN), the Energy SUPERSTORE and the STFC Network in Battery Science and Technology is hosting the 2019 UK Energy Storage Conference (UKES2019), providing an inclusive platform for stakeholders in all aspects of Energy Storage to share their findings through oral and poster presentations.

This year the conference has an overarching theme of Energy Storage and Digitalisation. The conference aims to bring together researchers from academia, industry and policy makers across the whole field of energy storage and relevant themes, offering a unique opportunity for dissemination and collaboration through presentations, expert talks, and poster sessions to inspire future research.
