Welcome to the homepage for the 8th International Conference on Biomedical Ontology (ICBO).
The ICBO conference series brings together representatives of all major communities involved in the development and application of ontologies in biomedicine and related areas. Together, they address issues pertaining to coordinated development of ontological resources, as well as their optimal use in applications. This year's conference will be hosted in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
