Marina de Stacpoole

Marina de Stacpoole's practice is primarily concerned socio-political themes. She is currently exploring globalisation and disconnectedness in a hyper-real world. Hybridity as a means to read texts both visually and in written form is of central importance, as well as a way of working in an inter-disciplinary manner. She works with multimedia digital images as well as using photography and paint on canvas. Interviewing and the dialogic, resulting in textual transcripts, plays an important role in her research.
