Newcastle University is proud to host its annual Sport Psychology Showcase, a free online event designed to equip coaches with psychological knowledge that can be directly translated into their coaching practice. This showcase brings together a diverse range of perspectives, featuring contributions from leading sport psychology researchers, applied practitioners, coaches, athletes, and postgraduate students. Across the day, attendees will gain insights that bridge the gap between psychological theory and real-world performance environments.

Having been awarded official endorsement from the Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES) last year, we are pleased to announce that the 2026 showcase continues to be recognised for its quality, relevance, and contribution to professional practice.

Although tailored primarily for coaches, the showcase is also highly beneficial for students, researchers, sport scientists, and anyone interested in applying psychological principles to enhance performance, well-being, and development in sport.
