Registration has now closed.
Included in registration are the daytime refreshments, the reception on Wednesday evening (29 July) and lunch on Thursday and Friday (30 and 31 July).
If you chose to attend the conference dinner (Thursday 30 July, 8.00 pm, Blackfriars Restaurant, Friars Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4XN), the Webstore Booking Confirmation e-mail you received after registering will indicate this.
For evening meals on other evenings, and for anyone not attending the conference dinner on Thursday 30 July, please find a selection of suggested restaurants below.
For evening meals other than the conference dinner, here is a selection of suggested restaurants (with thanks to Dr Joseph Skinner):
Carluccio's on Grey Street
Pani's Cafe (Sardinian/Italian)
Dabbawal's (a very fine (and affordable) curry house immediately next-door); they also have a restaurant in Jesmond
Brown's (also on Grey Sreet): rather more expensive but nice
Nearby there are a number of chain restaurants
Sausage Emporium (a favourite of the Newcastle classicists)
Ottoman (affordable (and good) Turkish food). Just up from Central Station on West Clayton Street
There are more options on the Quayside, including: Rasa (Indian; lots of fish dishes), Pan Haggerty
Red House (excellent pies/beer), also on the Quayside
