The main concourse of the Herschel Building is the central hub, about which all conference activities will take place. The newly refurbished Curtis Auditorium seating 360 people, together with the 3 other conference lecture theaters, are set around the main concourse, that will form the social hub for the whole week.  The registration, the coffee breaks and welcome reception will all take place in this space.‌

Space for trade stands is available within the main concourse, exposing exhibitors to the maximum possible footfall.  We have eight, 5m long x 1.5m (A-H) deep at £1,500 and two plots of 3m long x 1.5 deep (I and J) at £1,000. The cost of these plots are for the week (Monday to Friday) and include the conference registration fee for one attending person.

The MARSIM conference banquet will be held on the evening of Thursday 10th September 2015, at the prestigious Discovery Museum, in the hart of Newcastle. 

The evening will include a Champagne reception on arrival in the Turbinia Hall (top and bottom right).  Open access to the ship-model gallery and then up to the spectacular top floor banquet suit (right) for the main event.

When and where?

The conference luncheons will take place between 12.30hrs and 13.30hrs in Newcastle University Student Union building; just 2 minutes walk from the conference venue.

What’s in it for you?

Luncheon sponsors will receive a dedication in the conference agenda, clearly identifying them as the sponsor of the luncheon.  In addition, sponsors will have the opportunity to provide a corporate logo, that will appear on various conference documentation and on the conference website.

How much will it cost?

To luncheon sponsorship level is £5,000

Conference Coffee Breaks

There will be two breaks per day throughout the conference.  At each break, teas, coffees, soft drinks and light snacks will be served.  The breaks will take place in the Herschel Building main concourse, bring the delegates directly to the demonstrators and trade stands.

When and where?

The morning break is expected to start at 10.30hrs and the afternoon break at 15.00hrs (subject to final timetable adjustments).  Each break is expected to last 30 minutes.  In this time, delegates will be free to explore the various demonstrators and trade stands positioned conveniently within the Herschel Building main concourse.

‌Why not have your corporate logo on a cupcake?

For and additional fee, corporate sponsors can elect to provide the delegates with a cupcake carrying there very own corporate logo.  Just imagine how many people will not only enjoy this novelty but  may also take a photo to show the folks back at home.

To sponsor one break will cost £1,500

To sponsor one break including 200 corporate logo cupcake will cost £2,000
