Former EuPA Awards for young investigators
At the 10th EuPA Annual Congress from 21-25 June 2016, in Istanbul, Turkey (www.eupa2016.org) EuPA awarded a prize for young PhDs. The winner, judged by the panel after the presentations on a dedicated session, received €1.000, sponsored by the Journal of Proteomics, and a EuPA certificate.

EuPA BREAKTHROUGH IN PROTEOMICS AWARD
Awarded for a breakthrough in proteomics, a discovery that transformed the knowledge frontier and has a major impact on science, technology and society.
Application is open to mid-career researchers from academia who have from 7 to 12 years work experience since completion of PhD.

EuPA Juan-Pablo Albar (JPA) Proteome Pioneer Award
EuPA intends to honour a person with a leading and long-standing involvement in the promotion of the principles of sharing and integration of resources for the development of excellent research in the Proteomics field. Therefore, EuPA is looking for a candidate who has made longstanding contributions to EuPA, and thus has been integral to the success of its mission.
In addition, this is a scientist or technologist who has demonstrated a deep interest in sharing resources and has achieved significant contributions to the EuPA organization.
EuPA National Societies will be invited to nominate candidates. Only ONE candidate may be nominated by each EuPA Member Society and this candidate must be from a FOREIGN Society.

EuPA Poster Prize
The best poster presented at the yearly organized EuPA conference is awarded the EuPA Poster Prize, which consists of a travel grant of up to 500 EUR for the next EuPA or HUPO conference.

EuPA Travel Grants
EuPA continues the initiative to provide travel grants to young scientists as a support to attend annual conferences of National Proteomics Societies, EuPA Summer and Winters schools, and the EuPA annual conference. The travel grant can cover the costs of conference participation (registration fee, accommodation, travel expenses) up to 500 EUR in form of reimbursement of the expenses.
All travel grant recipients agree to use the EuPA Travel Grant logo on their poster or insert a slide with the logo in their presentation (this will be sent as an email attachment). The reimbursement of the travel expenses can be done after the conference by filling out the reimbursement form (sent by EuPA Secretary via email) and sending all the documentation in original to the EuPA Secretary.
