The Dementia in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) symposia group will host a virtual conference over 2 days consisting of 2 hour sessions (4.30-6.30pm, Eastern Africa Time) on 9th and 10th December, 2020. All those interested in brief updates on Dementia in Africa, Asia and Latin America are invited to join this virtual meeting. The event will provide an opportunity for many interested colleagues to discuss recent advances in the global burden of disease, epidemiology, risk factors, biomarkers for dementia and prevention of disease as well as ongoing and future projects. The abbreviated virtual conference will be a foretaste of the much anticipated landmark Symposium on Dementia in LMICs being planned for December 2021 in Nairobi, Kenya.
