Lydia Garms

Lydia is a PhD student at Royal Holloway, University of London going into her third year of research in the field of cryptography. She completed her Bachelors degree in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge in 2014, and then completed her Masters degree in Applicable Mathematics at the London School of Economics in 2015. She then joined the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security at Royal Holloway. Her current interests include modelling provable security for cryptographic primitives, taking into account the trade off between usability and privacy, and designing primitives that satisfy this.
