Welcome to the London Mathematical Society (LMS) Women in Mathematics Day, 19th October, 2018.

Awarded by the London Mathematical Society, Newcastle University is partnering with the WISDOM group of Royal Holloway, University of London to host an event at Newcastle University titled: What I’ve done with my Maths Degree, and what you can do with yours.

If you are an undergraduate, master or PhD student in any discipline, and interested in hearing from successful women with a mathematical background, come along to enjoy a friendly day of talks from several women working in academia and industry, showcasing where a degree in Mathematics can lead. 

This free of charge event will consist of several talks, coffee breaks for networking, a poster session for interested attendees over lunch, a panel discussion session, and final remarks including the announcement of the winner of the best poster prize. Secure your place today.
