The EU-ISMET 2018 will be hosted in The Civic Centre, located at the heart of the vibrant city of Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North East of England. It has  excellent access from the Newcastle international airport (by metro, stop at Haymarket station) and main train station. The Civic Center is a short distance walk from Newcastle University and the historical centre with its Saint Nicholas Cathedral, the Millennium Bridge and the Quayside, and from all the local shops and pubs that make “The Toon” such a dynamic and lively city. Often described as a “small big city”, Newcastle is also at the vicinity of the natural beauty of the country side and coastline of the region of Northumbria.
