Registration is NOW CLOSED!!!

Welcome to the Newcastle Clinical Research Facilities announcement for the Industry Engagement day on the 12th February 2016. The purpose of the day is to provide a forum for Industry to meet with our staff involved in the delivery of early phase clinical research.

The focus of the day, jointly organised by the NIHR/Wellcome Trust Newcastle Clinical Research Facility (CRF) together with the Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Trials Research Centre, is to strengthen existing and foster new collaborations.

The day will include keynote talks from some of our Principal Investigators who have established networks to promote early phase research and who have existing close collaborations with Industry. We will hear the views of Industry and the role of the NIHR Office for Clinical Research Infrastructure (NOCRI) in promoting early phase research.

There will be ample opportunity to network with research staff working across a broad range of clinical specialties and across our different research facilities.

We will have a series of workshops focused on specific structures and systems designed to promote a closer working relationship between Academia, Industry and the NHS.

There are a limited number of spaces so we recommend early registration.

The Industry Engagement Day is linked with our partner event to be held on the 11th February 2016, 'Adopting MedTech for Patient Benefit'

We look forward to seeing you In Newcastle.

Director Newcastle NIHR Clinical Research Facility
