- Rail - Newcastle is about 3 hours from London and less than 90 minutes from Edinburgh. The workshop venue is within easy walking distance from Newcastle Central Rail station (approximately 10 - 15 minutes).
- Metro – The easiest way to get to the city centre from the airport or rail station is to take the Metro. There is a Metro station located within Newcastle Central Rail Station & Newcastle International Airport. The nearest Metro station to the workshop venue is St James – located near the famous St James’ Park Football Stadium, home of Newcastle United Football Club.
- Taxis - A taxi from Newcastle International Airport to the city centre or workshop venue would cost approximately £15 (approx €20).
