Aims

  • To consider the development of a model/theoretical approach/language to articulate the impact (or experience?) of museums and galleries upon individuals and wider society
  • To further explore ways of describing the roles museums and galleries play in everyday life
  • To explore the opportunities for further collaboration between policy makers, practitioners and academic researchers
  • To identify outputs from the three workshops
