Conference Opening and Keynote - 5th July 9.30am

Prof Stephanie Glendinning (PVC SAgE Faculty) will open the conference.

This will be followed by a Keynote talk from

Prof Hayley Fowler: Increasing climate resilience and winning the race to net zero in the UK

The talk will provide information on the challenge we are facing from climate change in the UK and internationally, and how well we are doing in the net zero and race for resilience agendas. It will be argued that to reduce emissions and to adapt to the challenges of increased weather extremes we must work together, collaboratively across disciplines and with industry and government, with new partnerships key to addressing this grand challenge.
