Conduct

The Relativistic Thermodynamics Workshop is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful and safe environment for all participants. We aim to ensure that all attendees feel welcome and valued, irrespective of background, career stage or identity.

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and to treat others with dignity and respect at all times.

Discrimination, harassment or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Discriminatory remarks or actions based on gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, health status, race, age, religion (or lack thereof), language, national origin, ethnicity or socio-economic background
  • Sexual harassment in any form
  • Unauthorised or harassing photography or recording

Participants who experience or witness inappropriate behaviour are encouraged to contact a member of the organising committee as soon as possible. All reports will be handled confidentially and with appropriate discretion.

The organisers reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, including issuing warnings or, where appropriate, removing individuals from the workshop.
