The main aim of this conference is to allow early stage researchers to present their work, both orally and via poster sessions, to peers in an encouraging and supportive environment, while still providing them the experience of presenting to the greater research community in a professional setting.
The committee is solely made up of current PhD students from within the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials.
Some of the feedbacks from the delegates about their experience in NPCEC 2013 at Newcastle University:
"The organizing committee has done a great job in hosting the NPCEC 2013 Conference. The keynote speeches were stunning and other research talks were inspiring too. I was very impressed by both the quality of the talks and the perfect organisation of the conference. I was very glad to have the opportunity to present my work and interact with other researcher. Moreover, through presenting my own work I was able to obtain invaluable feedback from various researchers in the area." Somaieh Mohammadi
"As for NPCEC 2013, I think I found it a very useful space and opportunity to see and update myself on the cutting-edge research going on in the chemical engineering field from various universities. I found the atmosphere both congenial and professional and I could not recommend such an event highly enough- it would be a delight to see NPCEC become a sustained, annual event, hosted by different universities."
