The second Newcastle Experimental Economics Workshop was held on 9th and 10th November 2023 at Newcastle University, UK.
Keynote speakers
Peter Martinsson is a full professor in economics at the Department of Technology, Management and Economics, Technical University of Denmark, and at the Department of Economics, University of Gothenburg. His current research focuses on behavioural economics. He often uses experimental methods to address topics such as social preferences, risk preferences, trust, inequality and justice, both in developing and developed countries. |
Marie Claire Villeval is a Research Professor in Economics at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the head of GATE-Lab at the University of Lyon, France. She is the founding President of the French Association of Experimental Economics (ASFEE) and a former President of the French Economic Association (AFSE) and the Economic Science Association (ESA). Her main research interests are behavioural and experimental economics applied to the analysis of the efficiency of incentives, the dynamics of social norms, ethics and dishonesty, biases in the transmission of information, and the demand and supply of ignorance. |
