Cancellation Policy

1) The University reserves the right to cancel an Event for any reason prior to the start of the event. In the event of cancellation, delegates will be notified and a full refund of all fees will be made.

2) In the event of cancellation by the delegate, cancellation fees will be due as follows:

a) If an order is canceled for any reason within 7 working days of the booking acknowledgment being issued, the delegate is entitled to a full refund unless the event has already started at which point the delegate’s cancellation rights cease immediately;

b) If an order is canceled after 7 working days of the booking acknowledgment being issued and the cancellation is made over 10 working days before the event the delegate is entitled to a refund of 50%;

c) If an order is canceled within 10 working days of the event the delegate is not entitled to any refund;

d) If the delegate fails to attend the event they are not entitled to a refund unless they have cancelled their booking in accordance with the above.

To request a refund in accordance with the above the delegate must notify the conference organising team in writing by email to sarcconf@newcastle.ac.uk. The University will pay any refund to which the delegate is entitled as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days.
