Early Bird has now closed.

If you would like to attend the conference you will need to register through our webstore. We have set out details of the different options and available extras. Accommodation is not included in the cost of registration but we have some great deals with local hostels and hotels starting from £20 per night. You can take advantage of the special rates by booking accomodation through this website.

How to register
Register for the conference through the Newcastle University's online webstore. If you haven't used our webstore before you will be asked to set up an account. It's very easy, but we have provided a Webstore step by step guide of the process.

  • Step 1 - Browse the packages available under attendee options and further options.
  • Step 2 - Register your details on the web store - name, address.
  • Step 3 - Choose your delegate rate and any optional extras.
  • Step 4 - Enter any dietary or access requirements.
  • Step 5 - Complete the payment information.

Payment options
You can pay with a debit or credit card. You will receive a confirmation email after you have made a successful transaction. If you have any questions or need an invoice please email bsg15abstracts@newcastle.ac.uk

Conference registration fee

Full delegates (three days)
Delegates wishing to attend all three days of the conference have the option of paying the full registration fee which is inclusive of day-refreshments, Thursday's gala conference dinner and wine receptions on Wednesday and Thursday. The registration fee covers conference participation and a delegate bag containing the conference handbook and other useful information. Book now

Single-day delegates (one or more days)
The single-day registration fee covers conference participation, day refreshments, and wine receptions on Wednesday and Thursday. Day delegates will also receive a delegate pack which includes a bag containing the conference handbook and useful information. Day delegates are welcome to attend the Gala dinner on 2 July, select it from the optional extras when you book online.

Optional costs

Become a member of BSG
To benefit from the reduced rates for BSG members you have the option of paying for BSG membership through the webstore. Delegates joining BSG this year will not benefit from reduced conference rates until the 2016 BSG conference.

Subscription
As a BSG member, you have the option of buying a subscription to the Ageing and Society Journal (£33) and the Journal of Population Ageing (£40) when you register.

Gala dinner
Conference dinner 2 July 2015, 8pm at Newcastle Civic Centre followed by traditional Ceilidh dance, music and late bar. For full delegates the gala dinner is included in your registration fee. For day delegates the dinner is an optional extra.

Cancellation policy
Refunds will be provided if you cancel your attendance before the conference. Unfortunately we can't provide refunds if you cancel during the conference.
