Transportation

ARRIVAL FROM AIRPORTS

Shuttle bus is the recommended cost economical and comfortable means of transprot from either of the airports

 

Ataturk Airport

a)      HAVATAS Shuttle to Taksim Square

b)      Taxi takes about from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the traffic. Taxis cost you around 100 TL.

c)      Subway (Metro) takes about an hour (Look at the Metro Lines Map - http://www.istanbul-ulasim.com.tr/our-network.aspx). Fares: Token: 4 TL, Full Fare for Electronic Ticket (Akbil – IstanbulCard): 3.5 TL, Student Fare for Electronic Ticket (Akbil – IstanbulCard): 1.80 TL and Discounted Fare for Electronic Ticket (Akbil – IstanbulCard): 2.5 TL. Istanbulcard can be bought from wending machines at main stations.

 

 

 

Sabiha Gokcen Airport

a)      Take HAVATAS Shuttle to Taksim Square

b)      Taxi takes about from 1hour to 1.5 hours depending on the traffic and above 100 TL.
