Professor Piero Antuono

Professor Piero Antuono is a neurologist and director of the Dementia Research Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  He is responsible for several clinical programs, including the United Community Center Latino Geriatric Center and three memory disorders clinics, which conduct 1,400 visits yearly.  He is also involved in several government- and industry-funded research protocols, one of which is a National Institutes of Health-funded functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) longitudinal study related to mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease.  He has acted in a similar role for Symposia held in 2001, 2007 and 2012. Prof Antuono was previous chair of the WFN Dementia Research Group.
