Special economic assistance bursaries - for delegates from economically disadvantaged countries.

SS15 has a limited number of Bursaries to assist delegates from economically disadvantaged countries. In order to apply for a bursary, the applicant must have had a proposal accepted for presentation at SS15. If you are from an economically disadvantaged country and would like to apply for a bursary, please submit a brief statement to us in support of your application. Your statement should include:

  • some information or details about the economic conditions in your country, and how they apply to you specifically.
  • what other funds (and how much) you can obtain from other sources (bursaries cannot be offered to cover the entire cost of attending SS15).

Bursaries are competitive and are available to partially/fully cover the following costs:

  • conference fee
  • conference dinner
  • University accommodation

Note: Financial support for travel to SS15 is not available.

Deadline:

Applications must be received by email by Monday 26th January 2004.
