 Format for Oral and Poster Presentations

 The Conference is divided into oral and poster sessions.

 Oral Sessions

 Two Plenary Talks (40 minutes, including questions) reviewing specific topics will be given during the first Monday morning session. For the remaining oral sessions, one or more Invited Talks have been arranged and these will take place at the start of the session. The time allowed for each invited speaker is 30 minutes (including questions). The time allowed for each speaker of contributed presentations is 20 minutes (including questions).

 Oral presentations in electronic format are required. Hi-tech projection facilities will be provided in the auditorium:

 - High Resolution LCD Projector;

 - Switcher (allows your laptop computers to be plugged into the LCD Projector);

 - Podium/Microphones;

 - Laser pointer.

 IMPORTANT NOTE: Overhead Projector will NOT supplied.

 We strongly encourage authors to bring their own laptop, either Mac or PC to avoid any issues with software. Session chairs will also be asked to gather all presentations for pre-loading onto his/her computer prior to the  sessions in order the provide a back-up in case of technical difficulties. In any event all authors should bring a back-up of their presentation either on memory stick or CD. All presentation equipment and qualified technicians  will be available in the auditorium for practice, starting at 8:30 am each morning and during the coffee and lunch breaks.

 Poster Session Information

 Poster sessions will take place Monday to Wednesday immediately after lunch. A number of distinguished scientists will give their presentations in the form of Invited Posters. The authors of Invited Posters are asked to prepare a short (maximum of 5 minutes) introduction to their poster which will be given by the author at the end of the final morning session on the scheduled day of the poster. Note that all invited posters will be displayed in all of the poster sessions so these should be put up in the allocated space on the Monday.

 Panels 1.50 m high by 1.00 m wide will be allocated for each poster presentation. Each presenter will find the number of his/her poster in the ECSCRM 2006 Technical Program. Authors are responsible for the set up and tear down of their printed material. All posters (except Invited Posters) must be removed at the end of the poster session.

Any visual aids which might clarify the results of work are encouraged. These can include diagrams, charts, figures, illustrations, etc. Please do not simply reproduce the text of the paper as this produces a poor visual impact. Note that graphics should be simple, colourful, well-labelled, and clear. The title should be written in letters 2 to 5 cm high, and all material should be readable from a distance of 2 m.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The presenting author is responsible for registering for the conference and making his/her own accommodation arrangements. Papers that are not presented at the conference will not be published in the conference proceedings.
