Accommodation for conference delegates has been arranged at the Claude Gibb and Camden Court residences of the city campus of Northumbria University, both of which are within easy walking distance of the Lipman building where the academic programme of the conference will take place.
Claude Gibb Hall has single rooms each with hand-basin; Camden Court has en-suite single rooms. Tea and coffee-making facilities are in all rooms. Full English breakfast and dinner for those staying at both halls is served in the dining-room of Claude Gibb Hall. Alternatively hotel accommodation within the city can be arranged.
Please note the following about accommodation in Northumbria University. There are 15 free car-parking spaces at Camden Court, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is parking at Claude Gibb costing £4 per night. Disabled car-parking space is available. Smoking is not allowed in Camden Court or in the dining-room in Claude Gibb. Residents may smoke in their own room in Claude Gibb. Claude Gibb, but not Camden Court, is a ‘wireless hotspot’ and the internet can be accessed from its rooms.
